This brief was to promote an event on campus that showcases different performances. The Aztec dancer silhouette shows the viewer that there will be a performance aspect and ornamental dance incorporated into the show. The Mayan calendar was placed as the background image to add a historical reference and the bright red color contrasts with the dark silhouette. The two images combined work together to represent cultural diversity. The sans-serif typeface Lithos was used because of its Greek appearance, adding another cultural aspect to the poster.
